The Wonder Room is an immersive, sensory-supportive play space for children ages 0-8, designed to spark imagination and empower children to build, explore, and collaborate within their own communities.
-
We offer 1 hour and 45 minute drop-in play sessions, flexible play packages, and monthly memberships, all within an indoor space intentionally designed to challenge, engage, and support children of various ages. We also host birthday parties and private events.
-
Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that play is fundamental to child development. We strive to create an environment where children ignite their imagination, build cooperation skills, and are empowered to become active, engaged members of their world. We believe that by reflecting real-world environments, we inspire children to envision innovative solutions and collaborate on challenges, all while ensuring equitable access to positive childhood experiences for every family.
-
Our space is thoughtfully designed to engage all children within the 0-8 age range. We feature designated, intentional areas for non-walking babies and toddlers, along with tailored experiences for younger children. For our older adventurers (5-8 year olds), we offer embedded challenges grouped by pedagogical themes (like "colors," "science," or "navigation"), designed to be self-directed and practice academic skills. Additionally, monthly "Missions" provide bigger, immersive pretend-play experiences, like an "Animal Rescue Mission," that change regularly to keep play fresh and exciting for frequent visitors.
-
The Wonder Room is specifically designed and curated for children ages 0-8 years old to ensure optimal engagement and a rich play experience tailored to their developmental stages.
To support family visits and ensure no one is left out, we warmly welcome accompanying siblings or other children up to 10 years of age to enter and enjoy the space. However, please note that the play environments, challenges, and materials are primarily geared towards the 0-8 age group, and older children may find the activities less challenging or engaging than their younger counterparts. We encourage older children to engage as mentors, imaginative collaborators, or play partners within the context of the younger children's play. For those older children who prefer a more relaxed experience, we also offer a quiet space located in our lobby, complete with age-appropriate activities, where they can comfortably wait.
-
We believe all children deserve access to positive play experiences. To support this, we offer a sliding scale pricing structure designed to be accessible to all community members, regardless of financial ability. This model empowers families to choose the price that best fits their budget. Click here for complete pricing details.

To ensure a comfortable, safe, and high-quality play experience for everyone, we carefully manage the number of guests. Each play session has a set maximum capacity, which allows ample space for exploration and interaction. We highly recommend booking your visit in advance to secure your spot.

At The Wonder Room, our entire space is designed to be sensory-supportive, rather than designating specific "sensory-sensitive" times or days. Our philosophy promotes inclusive community engagement, ensuring all children can play together without unintentional exclusion. To achieve this, we've intentionally crafted quiet zones, active body-focused areas, and carefully managed sound systems to support a range of diverse sensory needs throughout your visit. We also carefully manage our capacity; you are welcome to join us during typically lower capacity times, usually on weekdays, for a potentially calmer experience.
-
Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of their visit. The Wonder Room is a play space designed for shared family experiences, not a childcare service.
-
Our play sessions are designed for a specific duration to ensure a quality experience for all guests and to manage our capacity effectively. The full session rate applies regardless of your arrival time within a session block.
For example, if you arrive at 11:00 AM for a 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM session, the full rate will still apply, and your play time will conclude at 12:00 PM. We recommend arriving at the start of your booked session to maximize your child's play experience. If you find you've missed a significant portion of a session, our team will happily help you book into the next available session to ensure you get the most out of your visit.
-
For the safety and hygiene of all our guests, everyone entering the play space – both children and adults – is required to wear socks. No shoes are permitted in the play area. We also strongly recommend that children wear comfortable clothing that allows for free movement, stretching, and climbing, so they can explore and play freely.

We encourage you to explore and support our wonderful local dining spots!

While we don't offer traditional "classes," our monthly "Missions" and embedded "Challenges" provide structured, play-based learning for older children. Additionally, we plan to host small, organized groups throughout the month, such as book readings, "baby and me" sessions, and music and movement groups. Details and booking information for these will be available on our website, and we recommend early reservations. Our space is also perfect for organized group visits, including field trips or playdates, which can be arranged in advance.
