The mission of The Wonder Room is to create a community-driven space where all Atlanta families and community members can explore, imagine, and grow through play-based and socially authentic, immersive experiences.

In partnership with local businesses and community voices, we envision a space where Atlanta’s children and adults can gather, play, explore, and imagine together. By providing a safe and immersive playspace that reflects the environments our children inhabit, we empower them to be active agents within their communities, encouraging them to envision innovative solutions and collaborate on real-world challenges. We aim to create welcoming experiences that embrace and celebrate the diversity of all children and families, regardless of socioeconomic status, ability or background. While children play, adults can observe or participate in their explorations. Outside of play, we offer opportunities for adults to engage, learn, and connect, nurturing a shared commitment to growth, understanding, and transforming our shared world.
